About the Role
As a District Manager, you'll lead the success of your district by overseeing service delivery across a portfolio of apartment communities, developing a strong team of Service Valets, and building trusted relationships with property managers. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines field operations, team management, and client partnership, with meaningful time spent on-site supporting both your team and customers.
We're looking for someone who leads with accountability, communicates well, and takes pride in building a reliable, high-performing operation. Success in this role comes from consistent execution, strong relationships, and a willingness to step in wherever needed.
Schedule & Pay:
- Full Time - 40-50 hours per week.
- Half day in the evenings on Sunday. Split shifts Monday - Thursday (morning & evening). Half day in the mornings on Friday.
- Pay $55k - $65k annually.
What You'll Do:
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, hire, train, and support a team of Service Valets.
- Coach employees through performance feedback, accountability, and development.
- Provide on-call support to valets and communities as needed.
- Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
Field Operations:
- Oversee nightly valet trash and recycling services across your district.
- Visit properties regularly to inspect service quality, safety, and compliance.
- Support new community launches, including staff onboarding and container distribution.
- Maintain inventory and coordinate supplies such as PPE and containers.
Client Relationships:
- Build strong relationships with property managers through regular communication and site visits.
- Resolve operational issues quickly while balancing client and team needs.
- Help ensure consistent, high-quality service that drives client satisfaction and retention.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Ensure valet reports and operational records are completed accurately and on time.
- Document activity within company systems and mobile apps.
What You Bring:
Required:
- 2-3 years of experience in field operations, logistics, property management, or a related industry.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Comfortable using email, mobile apps, and operational software.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in waste management, facilities services, or route-based operations.
- Familiarity with CRM or operations management tools.
- Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
